CIP

Hi,
In CIP we have been doing a project we have made a DLO that supports a company the Terracycle company. So in CIP I have made a DLO slide show that can help their company. We are posting some DLO in our blog and also in the Facebook page of the school. People who will get involve in our CIP is the people in the community like whanua members. I thing we will collect about to a 80kg or higher.
When we receive the money from Terracycle my be we could help donate it to some charities. Here is the DLO that I have made I hope you like it.

All Blacks

This blog post is about All Blacks. So in CIP we have been making poster video and other things for All Blacks. So after a few weeks the All Black player named Anton Leinert Brown he has send as a short video clip saying thank you very much for our hard work that we have made for the All Blacks players. So that is the short message Anton Leinert Brown gave us. Thank you very much for sending us a short feed back about what we have been doing in CIP thank you very much. We were also very happy when we got to sea the video message that Anton Leinert Brown gave us. I was very thankful because all that things that we have done in CIP we have gotten a feed back from a player.

All Blacks

In CIP I have made a poster to All Blacks Players. But first we have to choose what we are going to do we have some choices the choices are making some posters video and other things. So I did my own one in a piece of paper and we have to draw and write a letter to an All Blacks Players. Here is my drawing.

In CIP we have done some research about the All Blacks team. In CIP we have to answers some questions in the google drawing that the teacher that they have made. So There are three columns so the first column is What I know about All Blacks so we have to write what we already know about them. In CIP we have been working on a mufti day for the Crazy Kids Can. So first of all we have started splitting into groups my group is posters so I have to make a poster using a paper and drawing the information or write it down in the paper or you could write in fancy letters and write the information in the piece of paper. Some of the groups a re working on devices and they are create some DLO to present or share in the school. We shared the DLO by showing it up into the TV's at school that is why they know that we have planned that we have doing a mufti day the date of the mufti day is in August 8  Thursday. We are doing this mufti day for the Crazy Kids Can because we are also donating gold coin to give at the Crazy Kids Can. The theme of the mufti day is the radical rainbow so we have a choice we can wear a different colours in our own or we can pair up with some friends and make a rainbow with your friends. We choose the radical rainbow by voting some themes in the class so the final theme that we have voted was radical rainbow that's why we have to wear that in the mufti day.

What as the planning process? How did we come up with our theme?
The planning process was making groups and splitting the teachers are splitting us into groups. We came up with the radical rainbow by voting some theme for the mufti day so the final vote that we all have voted is the radical rainbow.

Who are we raising our money for? What do you know about them?
We are raising money for the (Crazy Kids Can) by donating some gold coin to the Crazy Kids Can. I know that Crazy Kids Can is dressing up like crazy.

What makes a successful mufti day?
I think to make the mufti day successful is by wearing the radical rainbow.

What jobs did you have/ Will you have
My job was to make a poster to display at school.

How is this spreading kindness to our community?
It's spreading it by helping kids can and donating some gold coins.

In CIP we have made a cartoon that is about being kind to one another. So I have made this slide show animation that is showing that an adult help a child crossing on the road because the child does not know how to cross. Here is the animation that I have made I hope you like it.

This blog post is about the CIP that we have done this term. So this term 2 we have been doing a lot of things is CIP. So in CIP we did something about the pink shirt day so in pink shirt day we did some poster about pink shirt day in piece of paper and we draw some shirt and we coloured it in with a pink pen. We can also do it in a google drawing that's why we can do it more quickly and also search some up in google.

After that we did ( Kindness Boomerang ) SO first we have watch a video about the Kindness Boomerang. So at the start of the video a guy was heading to work then a kid riding a skate board fell over then a old woman helped him get up. After that we watch all of the video then we did some work. We made some sandwiches for other kids that don't have any food. Then we made some letters for people that's why we can make them happy.

Then we did a google drawing about the ( Needs VS Wants ) so the needs is the things that we really need to survive and the wants and the one that we don't need and we can survive without it. So we put some photos in the google drawing so in wants we put the photos that we really need to survive like a photo of a food, Water and also other things. In want's is the one that we really want but we don't really need it. Like an Xbox 360 a Ps4 we don't need it and we can survive without it. Also WiFi we don't really need does things.

So in CIP we also did some picking up some rubbish around the community and use it to make a statue of a bird that is made out of rubbish. So we got split into two groups the first group is the one that is making just a tiny statues for each student. The other group is the one who is making a big statue of a bird. The bird that we were making was a Kea bird but we did not have enough time to finish it so we did not really got to finish it.

But when we are in CIP some people are going the elderly day care centre. So they have to meet some other people and get's to talk to them. Are they could just bring a work that they have done in the school and show it to the people that is in the elderly day care centre.

Then we made a colouring in competition for the year 1-3 4-5 6-8 so first of all we also got split into groups. So the first group is the one that is making a letter to the stores so they can donate some prises for the colouring in competition. The other group is the one who is making some poster to show it to the schools shops so they can join the colouring in competition. The other group is the one who is making the art that the kids will colour in. So after we have don that all we vote the for a drawing that we are going to use in the colouring in competition.

We did the colouring competition for the kids to do the colouring in, in the holiday to make there holiday more fun. That's why when they come back from there holiday maybe they are the winners the colouring in competition.

The passion that I did this term was gym sport and I really like it because you do so much running then your heart beats of faster because you are puffing. Maybe next term they could add Basketball in the passions just for fun. Because most kids like playing Basketball.

This blog post is about CIP in CIP we are focusing how to be ( Kind ) So first of all we answered a few questions. After that we have to answer another questions so here is the 2 questions that we have to do here it is.


What are some things we talked about in our group discussion?
In the group discussion we talked about how or discuss about what we are going to answer the questions. So we talked about colouring so the colouring is like we have to create an advertisement to share to a different schools. Then we have to answer a few questions that's why we can have an idea of what we are answering.

How do you think we should organise this event?
Maybe we could like partner up the children from different school to another school and then we could do the art competition. That's why they could meet other children from other children and they maybe could show kindness to each other.

This week in CIP we have made a DLO about ( Needs VS Wants ) So before that we have been sitting on the mat and listening to the instructions of what we are going to do. But first we shared a few examples of the mat to get some few ideas to write in our DLO. This week in CIP we have been watching videos about sharing kindness to other people like in the shops malls. So we watch a video about sharing the kindness. So I am going to write about the video that we have watch and what did we notice about that video that we have watch. So here is the writing that I have made I hope you like it.


One day a family wen't to the store and there is three of them walking with a push cart. They we buying food for there Grand father's Birthday. They were buying different kinds of snacks in the store and then the girl wanted the small biscuit with a purple wrap. But the Grandma take the big ones because they were buy 1 get 1 free so they just take that one. After that the Grandma said you could get something else for your Grandpa then the little girl got to the cake part of the store and looking for a cake to buy for there Grandpa. Then she saw a man grab the cake that she wanted but that kind man give it to here. When they finish buying in the store they were at the counter and they were paying for there stuff that they have bought in the store. But when they were paying for the cake it costs a lot of money and they just can't afford it. The little girl was very sad because it was his Grandpa's Birthday and he does not have any cake. So the Grandma said to the counter could you please return the cake then when they got outside that man earlier the one who gave the cake to the little girl he bought here cake. Then after paying for it he chased them outside the store and give it to the little girl that wanted the cake for her Grandpa.

So the Grandma said to the man when he was giving the cake to them she said no to the man. But then he told them a story that one day an old man was in the queue. That when the man when he was a kid he also wanted to buy the cake because it was his birthday that day. So he said to his mom I want to choose my own cake in the queue. So the old man bought the cake and give to the young man that wanted the cake. Then he said Happy Birthday then give the cake to the boy and then the parent of the young man said what is you number and his name and wrote in down into a piece of paper. Then the little kid did not get to say thank you to that man. After he was telling the story the Grandma said can I ask your name the he said I am the man in the queue. Then the man give a piece of paper to them when they got home they give the cake to there Grandpa. The Grandpa said why did you bought so many stuff then the grandma said we did not actual bought that mutch stuff. We got so many stuff because they man bought us the cake for your Birthday. Then the Grandpa look at the piece of paper and it kind of piece of paper that he wrote in the past few years. At the end the sang happy birthday to there Grandpa.

Buddha's Temple

Hi,

This week in CIP we have been writing bout what we did in our trip. About the ( Buddha's Temple ) and

we are in our CIP groups.

Thats why we don't have to many people going in the Temple.

Here is the Writing that we have done and also some photos.

Buddha's Temple

So in tuesday 14th of may we went to a trip to( Buddha’s Temple) and we got splitted into two groups.

So when we got to the (Temple) the Thailanders were lining up and waiting for us outside the bus.

When we got down the bus we lined up in to four lines and the group one when first into the Temple

and lined up inside the we were next and we wereexcited to see what’s inside the Temple.

When we got inside the Temple we so statue and it is a buddha then we keep walking and we got into the very inside

of the Temple and we lined up and they told us to sat down that’s why we can see that person that is
talking. We practice saying the 3G 4G so the 3G is ( Saying Good Deeds, Good Words and Good Thoughts)
The has for 4G on it find out what the for 4G means in google.

When we got splitted into a two groups we did different things in the Temple. So we started by
walking outside again in the temple then going back in the Temple and

lined up at the side of the tables. Because we are making a the ( Lotus Flower) That is made from peace of paper
and joining them together. After we have done the Lotus Flower we watch a video about the 3G 4G.

The video that we watch is showing us how do 3G 4G works so a Buddha that started the 3G

4G by making people happy,

Respecting other people, Helping others that needs help.After that we when outside again at the

Temple and went back inside were we have started. So when we got back there we waited for others to come and we got to the art gallery and the Thailander said something like a goal it is ( Being kind to others that never ends )Then after that we walked and the Thailander that was showing us where to go. He said when he says 3G 4G we say in ACTION!!
Very loud after we did that we when up stairs of the Temple and
so some paintings at the side of the walls of were we were walking and some
of the paintings has a price on them and it is very expensive.

After we have past the art gallery we got inside a old library and the books is thailand words and I think there is only 1-2 books that is english. So the Thainlander said a few words about the Library. After the Thailander explain about the library we walk back outside of the Temple. When we got back outside they said to lined up into your groups then after we lined up into our groups the Thailander said they are giving us water tattoo and the tattoo has a statue and it is a buddha. After a few minutes we all lined up again in to our groups then then we made a line then they gave us a little snax and it was a 3 pieces of biscuit and one water.

After we ate our food we walked back inside the temple and walked up stairs again then passed the art gallery. When we got to the meditation room we all lined up to our groups the group one and the group two then the Thailander ask us if we want to feed the buddha and me and my friends tried it out because we only need to say the 3G ( Saying Good Deeds, Good words, Good Thoughts) After that we sat down on the floor the Thainlander said we are going to meditate. When we meditate he said we need to close our eyes and straight back but if we bend our back to much our backs will get very sore after you meditate. When we also meditate our skin can also get itchy then after we meditate we just opened our eyes and just keeped sitting on the ground.

After a few minutes of the Thainlander talking they gave us little bells that we could put at our doors. Then after that we walked back outside the Temple and got inside the bus and saying goodbye to the Thailanders. We got back to school happy and so much to tell to our friends about what we have done.

Today in CIP we watch a video about Pink shirt day. But there is somethings that we haven't known yet when we haven't watch the video. The pink shirt day started in Canada and it started in a school a kid was wearing pink shirt and he got bullied in his school. Then There is another to guys had an idea they buy 50 pink shirt and they started emailed everyone in the school and they give out free pink shirt to everyone. But before they started calling it pink shirt day it was ( Sea of Pink )

What sort of things makes good friends?
Good friends makes you happy cares about you and also helping you when you don't know what to do.

What do the people who cares about us do? They make us happy and making us very good friend.

What don't they do? They don't make you happy they make you mad at them and they also make you bully others in the school.

What do you think being on out stander means? I think out stander means is making people very proud.

How did the pink shirt boys show that they were good friends? They showed that they were really good friends by sharing the pink shirts to everyone that's why the person does not get bullied.

The project is to create something made out of rubbish around the global community.
What is the purpose?
The purpose of this is to clean the environment and reusing the rubbish to create something that is made out of rubbish.
How much rubbish do you think we are going to collect? Why do you think that?
I think were going to collect a lot of rubbish in our community.

I think the colours that we are going to see the most is silver because we see a lot of cans.
