Easter Island Model creation

 W.A.L.T     create a model that shares something  we have bean learnt about our mystery.


Hi guys. This is my model creation about the Easter Island look like we did not put trees on Easter Island because the Easter Island don't have a trees because the people at Easter Island cut the trees to move the moia statues. Aisa, Travis, Keyana, Lyan, and I worked together to finish this Easter Island.

Start drawing 

I start drawing the Island Land first I use the pencil that's why if I got a mistake we can rubber it but after I draw it I did not get mistake and after i draw it on a pencil I draw it on a pentel pen and I trace it that's why my drawing gets brighter that's why we can sea it.

Paper mache

We start cutting the paper and get a glue. When my group finished reaping the paper we started paper mached the Island and we paper mache the Island for 1 week and then my group start helping me to paper mache the Island that's why we can finished it.

Painting

We start panting after we finished the paper mache and all of my group get a turn to paint the Island and then Travis and I start making the little moia statues we made a hips of statues to put them around the Island and I counted how many moias on the island then I started counting the moia and the moias 20 pices.

Finishing 

I putted the 20 moias around the island but there are to many that's why my group helped me to put the moias around the island then after we put the moias I made the plat form and the people at Easter Island They could the plat form ahu and then we put 4 moias at the to of the plat form.

Cultural Show

This term  we have been looking at different culture. For the last 3 weeks we have been learning a traditional  cultural dance. I learnt the sasa for 3 weeks and the year six boys and year four boys doing the haka and the year six girls and year four girls doing the ti rakau. The audience watched the sasa and then the ti rakau and after the ti rakau the year six boys and the year four boys performed  the haka. Then after we Performed we all had shared lunch.

I felt happy because that we preformed and made the audience happy.

Duathlon

On the 30th of March we did a Duathlon. We used some scooters or bikes and if they don’t have scooter or bikes we had to run.  First we ran and got our bikes or scooters.  We went to the High school tennis court.  We went 2 times around the tennis court.  We then came back and ran two times around the field. When we finished running I just came fourth in the race and the Duathlon was really fun .

In Ako Ngatahi we had to write a narrative about a video. It was about a boy opening a present that was a dog with three legs. Here is the video of the present. I hope you enjoy my story.

The Present

On one fine day I am playing my ps4 counter strike game. At the brightly sun at the afternoon . My mum was get home She have a box and I don’t no what is inside the box. My mum put the box to the table and my mum distracted me and stop playing. I almost get lost on my game. My mum said that is a present for you I said to my mum for me the present I open the box and I so a puppy It was cool. But I look at the dog legs and I so broken leg. I said “Yuck.” I throw the puppy  and the puppy start being silly. puppy came back. I kick the puppy the puppy found a ball and the dog has get the ball and the dog get little hurt  when the puppy go under the cabinet when the puppy getting the ball and the puppy ran and fell and lose the ball `and he wants to play with me and I kick the ball and the dog has get the ball.The dog was jumped in the box and the dog was get inside the box.the dog ran and get the hurt in the cabinet and bang and me I see the ball and the dog jumped.Get the ball and came back to me and the dog fell three times when and the dog give the ball to me again and I get the ball and I stand up and I have a broken leg to and the dog was get sad when I stand and I said to my mum where going outside and I throw the ball little far and the dog get It.

 Yesterday we went to Hornby High School auditorium. John was telling us about Cyber safety. This is a DLO showing you how to be safe online.  I liked John's jokes, they were really funny and I liked listening to his cyber safety message.
