Diarama

Hi guys. This term we have been doing Diaramas. So this Diarama I have done with my partner Lennox is about the Cylcone Gita and we had to pick a village. We could choose Tonga or Samoa and I did a Tongan village so.

Things that I used:

I used lots of clay and sticks and some cotton balls.

 I also used paper to make the trees and I used a cellophane to make the sea. I used lite blue that's why its not really dark. I used some blue colored paper for my back ground and green paper for grass.

Number Lines Strategy

Hi Guys. This week we have been doing a DLO about the number line strategy and we did subtraction and Addition and I also did some hard one and a easy one. We also have been learning about the number line strategy before we did DLO and I hope you like my DLO.

Art work

Hi guys. For the last past two weeks we have been doing some art work it is could silhouette It was really cool. How did we do our silhouette the teacher take us a photo and we glue it at the black piece of paper. When it was dry we cut out the out line of the picture and we also painted a art and we can stick our silhouette into our art work. So here is my art work that I have made.

The Amazing Biathlon

Hi guys. This is a blog post about our Biathlon. So in our Biathlon we could use our bikes or scouters or we could only run if we wanted too.  We put our wheels on our year levels cones before we started but I did not use any wheels because running is fun. When the teacher called our year level we needed to get ready before the teacher says "go" that way we can run really fast.


After that the other kids had to get on to there bikes or scouters and if they were running they had to walk onto the white line. Then when you past the white line you could sprint. I had to go twice around the court because I was running. If you biked or scootered you had to do 4 leaps around the court and after you went around the court you went twice around the field if you were a senior. If you were a junior you had to do a one leap around the field.

The year 6 were the last ones to race. When the teacher called our year we got ready and started running to get our bikes or scouters. I just kept running until I got the white line then I had to walk. After I passed the white line a could go and sprint. I was just so fast I caught up with them and I caught up with the bikes and scouters on the court.

I was the first boy to go on the field and I was really tired so I just start walking because I was really tired and thirsty. It was fun when I walked because I was the first one but then I saw some one coming at the other side of the field so I started running again. Then I only had to do one more around the field then a teacher high five me and I high five them back. I was the first one to finish. I was so very happy because I won and I were the first one at the finish.

My amazing learning goals

Hi guys. This blog post it about my Learning Goals.

If you don't know what learning goals are they are a slide that you put your goals onto that you want to achieve. It's like on Maths when you want to get better at Maths you write it in your Chromebook. I have learning goals that I want to achieve for Reading, Writing, Maths and you can also put your own personal goals that you want to achieve. Your personal goal is something  you want to get better at like speaking other language's. We also have an Interview for our learning goals where we share them with our parents and they see who the teacher is.

Things you have to remember when you use the device

The things you have to remember when you are using your chrome books. So last week we have been doing some DLO about Chromebooks and this is also for respecting your Chromebooks like you are not holding it on the screen that's why it doesn't brake the screen so that is the things that we have been learning about on Cybersmart. The awesome first week of school!

 The first week of school, it was nice and quiet because we have new classmates. We saw Elgregoe the magician at the school and we started watching him in the hall. We did a mannequin challenge before we watch Elgregoe.

When we started at school on Wednesday, we did some mannequin challenges. The children in Ako Ngatahi  are so good because not many of us moved even a little. It is quite hard to do the mannequin challenge because you have to stay frozen. It is like you are being a mannequin in the store where you go and buy your clothes. The mannequins don't move because they are just made of plastic. On You Tube you can watch the videos of people doing a mannequin challenge that's why they don't move. They are looking like the real mannequin, just like in the store.

 Do you know that Elgregoe the magician it was cool when he did some magic and he also did some magic about the bulling. I also like the magic that he did to the kid that he went to go and make him floated in the air I also like that Elgregoe use a balloon to make birds and I really like that he shows us the African parrot when he went to perfom and the parrot color was balck and grey the parrot color was cool we also did not know that the parrot is a girl. The other parrot was green it was a she and it is a macaw parrot it is very cool to and it speaks.

 Elgregoe did some volunteer to do the puppet because he said that he forgot the puppets on the house that's why some children volunteer. To do some puppets with Elgregoe the puppet was a mask that a person have to wear it and wear some costumes like the curly hair that you put on your head. Elgregoe has a controller on his hand to control the puppets mouth and he do the voices of the puppet he also has a puppet baby dinasour and he control it with his hand. Elgregoe also have a parrot that it is green macaw parrot and with a yellow tail and he use them for magic tricks.
