Pirates

 Hi,

In Social Studies for our first 10 minute task we needed to research about pirates and research about them if there is any of them still exist.

• There are still pirates today because there was some incident that has happened at the start of the year of 2021.
• There are 2 kinds of Pirates this year and one of them are interested in loot and the safe of the ship.
• Some of the pirates that still exist today are in the Indian ocean, East Africa and the far East including the South China Sea, South America and the Caribbean

In Social Studies for the first 10 minutes of our class we needed to research about Fidel Castro and find 10 facts about him here is the work that I have done.

                                Fidel Castro

• August 13, 1926 Fidel Castro Ruz was born in Eastern Cuban Hamlet of Biran, he is a son of a well off Spanish-born landowner.
• July 26, 1953 he leaded the armed uprising against military dictator Fulgencio Batista.
• February 13, 1959 Castor was named prim minister.
• April 16, 1961 He declares his revolution socialist.
• November 25, 2016 Fidel Castro died.

Shark Infested Custard

 Hi,

In Hurumanu 5 we played a game called the Shark Infested Custard. We needed to be in groups of 6 and each group has three hula hoops what we did was try to get from one side to the other side without dragging the hula hoop. Also not carrying the hula hoop each team member needed to be inside the hula hoop.

What IP skill did you show today? I think that IP skill that I have shown was communicating because we needed to come up with a plan.

How did it help with the success? It help us success because we talked to each other and trying some strategy that could work.

Who did you work with that went well today? Today I worked with 2 girls and one of my friends.

If you were to do it again how would you do it differently? I think hat we could do differently if we were to do it again is to come up with an easier strategy so we could finish faster.

What level of Helisons behaviour model were you working at in this activity? I think the Helisons model that I have used was level 2 because I was involve in activities.

ESOL

 Hi,

In ESOL we have to post about our 100 words writing and we have to change it a bit a fix our spelling and our grammar the title of the writing that I have done is ( What I hate about chores ) here is the writing that I have done.

What I hate the most when doing chores is when I am tired and I still have to do the dishes and also doing the laundry. Sometimes I really like doing chores because I think it is fun helping my parents with some of the house work that they do when they get home after work. The chores that I hate the most are doing the laundry, because there are lots of clothes that I have to wash and also hang them outside, after they dry I have to fold them. That is what I hate the most in chores.

Cup Challenge

 Hi,

So in our Hurumanu 5 in Health we did a cup challenge were we were in groups of 5 to and we have to get the cups from the table using some rubber bands and strings then place them to the side table of the room here is some photo of the planning. The teacher also timed us for how long we are going to take to put the cups from on side to the other and we were disqualified because the cups keeps on falling to the ground.

What IP skill did you show? For the IP skill we use some active listening, Verbal communication & Non verbal communication.

How did it help with success in our activity? It help us success because we talk to each other and it help us do the cup challenge and each one of use give some ideas.

Who did you work with that went well today? I work with people that I don't know but we still did the challenge even though we really don't know the people who we were walking with.

If you were to do it again, how would you do it differently? What I think I should do next time if I were to do it again is by doing the challenge calmly and not rushing to finish the challenge.

What level of Hellison's behaviour model were you working at in this activity and provide examples of this? I think the Hellison behaviour model I was working on was level 2 because I tried to avoid disturbing others and actively involve in activities.

Che Guevara

 Hi,

In Social Studies we have to choose a person who we are going to research. What we did was we created a timeline about a person the person that I have chosen is Che Guevara quick fact about him ( He got shot 9 times before he died ) Here is the work that I have done in social studies.

What IP skill did you show/use today? Did you use any warm fuzzies? The interpersonal skill that I have shown is using my communication and active listening.

How did it help with the succes/lack of success, of the activity? 

Who did you work with that went well today? I work with Jaren today and what wen't well was telling the details

If you were to do it again, how would you do it differently? If I were to do it again is to tell my buddy more details about do photo that they have to draw.

My Helison level three because I work cooperatively with my group.
