Hi,
This blog post is about making our own pepeha so here is my own pepeha. So it has English and a moari language so we can understand it here it is.
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 8 and in 2021 I will be a year 9. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.
To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Mōrena Joshua!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Mikey. I'm a member of the Summer Learning Journey team this year and I'll be commenting on some of your wonderful blog posts over the summer. It's so great to see that you've made a start on the teaser week activities - well done! :)
Thank you for sharing your pepeha with us. I think that it is such a lovely way for people to learn a little bit about you and where you're from. I've never heard of Emerald Stream. Is it close to where you live? I've never been to Christchurch so I'm not very familiar with the area.
Congratulations again on completing your first task! Remember that the programme officially begins next Monday (December 16th), so be sure to check out the Week 1 activities on the website then. In the meantime, keep going with the teaser week activities - I can't wait to read more! :)
Mā te wā!
Mikey
