Hi,
This week in drama we have been doing a video about the Physical activity in drama. So first we have to get in groups of 3 and we have to make a video about the physical activity using I movie. Then Hans, Alex and me did a video if you don't know the physical activity it is like a fitness like star jumps and sit ups. Here is the video that we have done in drama. Why do we need exercise we need exercise because we have to keep healthy and a exercise everyday and also to keep our muscle strong everyday.

I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 8 and in 2021 I will be a year 9. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Chromatography using a paper
Hi,
Today we did a science experiment. First the teacher told as what to do after that he told us to get a buddy to work with. When we got our buddy we need to go find a table to do the experiment. After that we have to grab the materials cup, paper, read pen, black pen, green pen and a water. Then after that we colour the paper then at the top of the paper we have to fold it into 2 cm. Then hang it inside the cup then pour the water into the cup. Aim: The aim was to separate the colours
Materials;
1. Cup
2. paper
3. red pen
4. black pen
5. green pen
6. water
Process:
Step 1: Grab a cup
Step 2: Grab the the paper
Step 3: Colour the paper black
Step 4: Then colour in the middle green
Step 5: After that your colour the last one red
Step 6: Pour the water in the cup
Findings: Write about what happened the colour in the paper rise up.
Reflection: What have I learnt from this experiment the colour have other colours inside it.

today we done and experiment in science. So in this experiment is using a skittles but first we need to find buddy to work with of r the experiment. After that we have to get all the materials after we get all the materials. Reflection: What have I learnt from this experiment the skittles can form into a cut pizza.

When We have a Reliever
Hi,
Today with our reliever we have done our time capsule and I already have done it after that the teacher told me to do some reading then I read some of it then I change into doing bingo. In our Literacy book and a few minutes I done my drawing in bingo.
When we have a guest in our class I should be sitting some were I can listen properly and quietly. Also doing the task that I have been given.
Next time I will be focusing in my work and seat on a chair that I can work properly. Also being focus of what I am doing .

Hurumanu Drama
Hi,
Today I am going to show you about what we have done in drama. So in drama first we got split in to two groups so I was on the other group. So what we did is watch the advertisement of the food vs the reality so a guy was buying a burger in Wendy's then look at the advertisement then he went to a different restaurant like Burger King, Wendy's and also others. After we have watched the teacher showed as a map then we have to find a store inside the map that sells a fast foods so when we find a store that sells a fast food the teacher will put a mark on it.
Then after that we use our Chromebooks then go in a padlet then right , draw, record and put some picture of the fast foods that we know. So we wrote as many fast food as we can when we have finished the teacher will look at what we have done. After that we change class rooms on the other group then we did some actions about the fruit or a song that we will show everybody in our group and we also have to perform it on to the stage. So her is a video I hope you like it.

Filtration
Hi,
Today I am going to tell you about what we have done in science. First we were splite into three groups after that we have to get the bottle that is cutted in half and the other half is turned upside down and put it into the other half of the bottle. After that we have to put the filter paper that's form into circle then you fold it into half after that you fold it into half again then you form it into a cone shape after that we have to put it inside the bottle. Then after it we will put the sand inside the filter paper to make the perfect way to filter the dirty water. Then we will put the tiny rocks at the top of the sand the you will put the dirty water inside the bottle. So here is the photo of the experiment that we have done.

Pour dirty water into the the bottle
So in our group when we did the filtration experiment it did not clean the dirty water that well. So maybe next time we could add some more sand and put them properly and also the rocks.
Designing Experiment

Today I am going to share you about what we have done in our Designing Experiment. So first we had to answer the questions of the things of what we are doing in our Hurumanu Science. The Plan.
Task 1; Read the question carefully and write the answer to these questions.
- What do we need to find out? Testing the water and salt and leaving it inside the freezer overnight .
- How will we find it out? Leaving gopro inside the the refrigerator or any camera
- How will we record what we find? Using a camera and record it with the timelapse overnight.
- What equipment do we need for the experiment? Salt, Water, Cup.
- How long will it take? 24hours.
The Procedure
Task 2: What are the steps that you will take to make the experiment?
List them in 6 steps.
Step 1; Grab cup.
Step 2:Put a water inside
Step 3:Grab some salt
Step 4:Put the salt on the water
Step 5:Leave it inside the freezer overnight
Step 6: And look what will happen after that day
The Process
Task 3: Draw on a piece of A4 paper the 6 steps that you will use to test the amount of salt in water before freezing. When we are making drawings in science it needs to be labelled clearly, kept tidy and named. Once you have completed the drawing it must be photographed and uploaded to your blog.
In your drawing you will use:
- Beakers
- Water
- Measuring spoons or cups
- Salt

Hi,
Today I am going to talk about what we did in science and I am also going to tell you about the steps to make the experiments. So first we wrote our plan in a piece of paper and then after that we will write it on our blog so here is the planning that we have done. The Goals in the experiment is to make a chemical reaction. The equipment that we are going to need first baking soda, vinegar, 2x cups, tray, measuring cup and that's all the materials we are going to need for the experiment.
First steps grab a tray to use it for the experiment.
Second is to grab the 2x cups to put the vinegar and the baking soda.
Thirdly is to grab the baking soda and the vinegar is the most important materials.
Fourthly pouring out the baking soda inside the cup and the vinegar.
Fifthly is first pouring the vinegar then the baking soda into the cups.

Physics
Hi,
Today I am going to show you about what we have done in our drama. So first we have learnt about the 4 dimensions. After we have done learning we find groups of four to make a I movie to show on the teacher. So we choose one of the 4 dimensions then we have choose the Physics. If you don't know physics it is about like, Drinking a lot of water that's why we don't get dehydrated, Physics is also like eating because we need to be healthy. Physics is have daily exercise or Fitness so we can stay healthy and also stay strong every day.
After that we have to make the video know with our groups. So first Tie wen't first and then Bryce, after Bryce it's Jullien after Jullien it is my turn talking on the video. So here is the I movie that we have made in our drama class I hope you like the video that we have made here it is.

Freeze Frame
Hi,
Today I am going to show you about what we did so first we were doing walking then the teacher will say stop then we will all freeze at the same time. But After we done that we got split into a to groups of four, Then Our group has to like do the spiritual then we were practising it for like 10 minutes. So first thing that we have done is talking about what we are going to do on our spiritual. But after that we were doing a meditation then our group will start to freeze after that we will count to three then were done freezing in three seconds.
If you don't know what a freeze frame is it is like a moment that nobody moves at that time when the teacher s say move you can already move. The freeze frame also like a picture in real like that nobody moves.
Then when we have finish our practise in 10 minutes the teacher told us to seat back on the mat. Then each group will perform what they have practise in 10 minutes. At the first there was four groups that when't first before we perform. So we have waited till it was our turn finally it was our turn then we perform the meditation and we freeze about three seconds. Here is some pictures of our groups

CARR Values

When we have done our plan we started making an animation in a google slide show, about what we have achieved like I achieve to make three shoots in a row.
