Sky Tower

Hi,
On The September 8 we were on the Auckland and that was on Saturday. On the afternoon we went on the Sky tower and we just walk. Because we don't know were to park and we walk for a long time like 1 hour to go on sky tower. But when we arrive we so it it was so tall and we wen't on the top using the elevator and at the entrance they taken us a picture and they edit the background and it is so cool. The tower was so high and we went on the 55 floor and that was the floor that you can take a photo. Then we wen't on the 60 floor and that was the cafe we can steal take a photo and there is a telescope but you have to put and coin to make it work. The view was so cool and high we also took some photos here it is.

Duffy books

Hi,

To day I gonna show you about the books that I have got. So the end of the term 3 they have give use the Duffy books that we have chosen but luckily we have to book each. So here is some of the books that I have got so I have started reading about the Ant-Man and it is a picture books. But it is about a virus that started from the space like on NASA the space station. This also talks about team work to save the city it's also a chapter books that has pictures on it. The other book that I have got is The Young Vikings what I think about this book is its good but I have not actually read it yet and I went to look at it and those not have a pictures but it does have chapters. Hi, to day I am going to show you how to play nitro type. The nitro type games helps you to type more faster and I hope you play it. So this is how you play nitro type.

On nitro type you can login or being a guest being a guest can't use nitro. But if you login you can buy nitro or you can earned it free if you win the race if you only came first and second.

Nitro type is as typing game is helps you to type more faster that you ever type before. You can also buy a car and earned money every race. You can buy also a car on the dealership and also nitro's also the paint of your car.

You can also see your highest speed on nitro type if you go on the stats and you can see how much you have improve on typing. It also show's you how much money you have spent. You can also invite your friends that plays nitro type then you can race with them.

On Achievement's you can collect a money or a car that you have earned for free. You also have a garage for your cars and you can swap cars if you have a new one. Also on the garage you can as also see the a word says claim and press claim and it will give you a price it could be a money,Exp,nitro. That's all you can earned.

You can also level up by getting more exp to level up faster and unlocked more cars and to buy them.

This week we have been doing a Harry Potter and the chamber. So we have to read the story then answered the questions on the slide show and we also done some fun things to do like do a magic trick. Maths DLO

This week we have been doing a percentages and fractions. We also learn lots of it and some of it are tricky because some of the I found out that they were challenging. But when we started learning about it I found out that it is now not quite hard because we learn't about it. So know we started making a DLO about the percentages and fractions. Do you already know this strategy or do you know another strategy for solving this maths questions maybe you can write it down on the comment. Here is the DLO that I have made I hope you like it.

Debating

Hi,
This week we have been dong a body system and here is the body system that I have been working on. So we have been writing different part of the body a and I started writing about the muscular system. We also need to write why we write it like I told you about muscular system because it is the most important part of your body. Changing our writing words like the important we have to find another word for saying the important. We actually have to choose one of these like search a joke or a brainy quote but I choose the brainy quote.

This writing is also debating about the body system because we have to say what we think is the most important body system. For Example I said this to you because I think that the muscular system is the most important part of your body. Do you already know about this? Did it hook you in? . I want some feedback about this post here is the writing.

Pamela Meyer, an Author says ”Contempt is the only asymmetrical expression in the muscular facial system: Disgust, fear, happiness, surprise and anger typically express themselves symmetrically. Contempt is marked by one lip corner pulled up and in a dismissive sneer” I have told you this because I think that the muscular system is the most critical part of your body.

Blood cells

Hi,
This week we have made a experiment that will show you how does the blood cells work.We also have been learning about it and watching a few videos to see how the blood cells work. Do you know that there is three different types of blood cells here it is.

The first one we do is we have a mineral water that is the pure still water and we have to drink or we put is on the sink to take of some of the water.

The second one we done is the teacher put a red food coloring on the cereal loops that's why it looks like a red blood cells. Then after that we put it on our water then the water turn into a red and we shake it and the red food coloring mix up on the water and know the water looks like blood.

The third one that we done is we put the marshmallow in the water that's why it look like the white blood cells. Do you know that the white blood cells fight and eat the germs on our blood

The last one that we done is the platelets. We put something that looks like a platelets and we cut is into a circle that's why it looks like a platelets. Do you know that the platelets helps your cut to get healed faster.

About Lungs

Hi,
This blog post is about Lungs and we made a experiment that show you how the lungs works. I decided to share this experiment that we have done. I hope that you can learnt something about this like how we breath how did we make the experiment here is the steps how we made it.

The first one we have bottle that's 1.5 liters that's split in half the after you've done it you grab the one the have a lid on it.

The second one that we done is we have a two straws and we take of the lid on the bottle then we put it inside the bottle.

The third one the we have done is cut the balloon at the top and put it on the half of the bottle that have a lid on the top. After that you've tape the balloon that's why it doesn't fall of. That balloon at the bottom is called the diaphragm.

The fourth one that we have done is we have a another two balloons that will be the lungs. Then we tape it on the straw and put the balloon inside the bottle.

The fifth one that we have done is we put a clay to be a lid on the bottle that's why it doesn't out the air out again.

The sixth one that we have did is we have to blow the two straw's. It will breath like a lungs and the balloon at the bottom is like out tummy that will get bigger and smaller when you breath out. After you've done it is will breath out and when you blow the straw again it will breath in.

Digestive system

This blog post will show you how our digestive system works. So we have been making a experiment and I decided to put it in my blog because it is good to share it with you. I also hope that you can learn something on the experiment this is how we made the experiment here is the steps\

First thing we need is the zip lock the zip lock will be the digestive system.

The second one that we done is put 1 piece of bread inside the zip lock. Then we rip it into pieces and put it inside the zip lock.

The third one that we did is we need a warm water but not really hot just a warm water to make the bread melt a little bit. After that you can have fun with it and crushing the bread inside the zip lock and it will melt a little bit.

The fourth one that we done is putting a vinegar inside the bread that why it melts more than before. After that you will see the difference before and after and that is how your digestive system works.

The fifth step we done is still crushing it but don't break the zip lock because it will make a mess. To make it more better than before

Body system

Hi,
This week we have started looking on our body system. We learned a lot and we put it in a google drawing a we write everything that we have learnt that we done.

The first one that we learned was the Endoctrine system. Do you know that the endoctrine system has 6 organs that could the glans.

The second one that we did was the cirulatory system. The circulatory system is the blood cells there are three different blood cells and they are the red blood cells,white blood cell and the platelets.

The last one that we learned from this week is the skeletal system.

This is about the bones do you know that your bone is a mineral and your bone stores fat.

1917 Kiwis at war

Hi,
This term I started reading about the 1917 kiwis at war. This book is interesting because when it is almost finished some of the soldiers are dying because they are going for a war they use planes to go on the war that's why it is more dangerous. I also think that I am on the half on the book that I have been reading on the content I am on the Elisabeth and also on the start of the page maybe some of the words are tricky. At the second page of the book it said here is this book is dedicated to the villain airmen who took the skies in service of their country,and especially to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. This book is also amazing it has a map and here is the photo of the book that I have been reading.

Maths DLO

This term we have been doing a fraction DLO because we have been doing it a weeks now and we created a DLO that show you the fractions. But If you don't know the top number is means a Numerator and the bottom number is the Denominator the denominator means is that how many slice you gonna slice and the Numerator is like how many you gonna it up.

Binary Numbers

 This blog post was from last year and this year I decided to publish this post to share it with the others because you can learn about the Binary Numbers.
We have been learning about the Binary numbers and we did some of them. Then we tried to write our names into a Binary Number. As you can see at the bottom I put some Binary Numbers and you can use it to write your name into a Binary code and I put some Examples to write some names. Then I used my name for a Example.

Different body system

W.A.L.T. explain the different body systems are and how it works.

Hi,

This week we have been looking about our body systems and we learnt lots of them this term. The first one that we have been looking is our digestive system. We learnt about the digestive system that it helps our body to get nutrients from the food we eat.

The second one the we learnt was the nervous system. The nervous systems is part of the brain the brain also controls our body the brain has a three different parts of the brain the first one was the cerebellum controls your balance and learning and the other two is the medulla and the cereberum.

The third one we learnt was the muscular system is the one that helps our bones move. Do you also know that there is a 650 bones on our body because if we don't have any bone we are like worm that can stand up.

The last one that we learnt is the respiratory system. It is about the lungs do you know that we breath in the oxygen and we breath out carbon dioxide and what we breath in it goes to your blood and it helps it.
